About Me
Hey there! I'm Wallace Zhao, a software developer here in Ottawa. I'm a recent grad from Algonquin College and really enjoy creating tech that's user friendly and accessible for everyone.
My capstone project involved creating an AI patient communication platform for a local orthodontic practice. I focused on implementing key accessibility features like text-to-speech and speech-to-text, ensuring the platform served patients inclusively. As a bonus, we earned 2nd Place at Algonquin College's Applied Research Day.
